About the Cat6 UTP Patch Cord 2 m (NCB-C6UGRYR1)
A 2 m D-Link Cat6 UTP patch cord (NCB-C6UGRYR1 series) with moulded RJ45 plugs on both ends. D-Link's datasheet lists 4-pair, 24 AWG bare copper conductors; the cords meet TIA/EIA-568 performance requirements.
Patch cords are the flexible connections at each end of a permanent cable run: patch panel to switch in the rack, and wall outlet to PC, phone, TV or access point. Factory-made cords are more reliable than hand-crimped ones.
